摘要:

Transition metal dichalogenides (TMDs) have excellent optical and electrical properties, and are expected to be widely used in electronics, optoelectronics, catalysis and other fields. Controllable synthesis of TMDs materials is still a challenge. The report will introduce a two-step chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method to prepare TMDs heterostructure and a new type of thermodynamic growth mechanism, and explore new approaches for TMDs growth. At the same time, due to the low mobility of TMDs field effect transistors, the application of TMDs in electronics is greatly limited. Taking molybdenum sulfide (MoS2) as an example, the report explored a method of fabricating field-effect transistor devices on crested and corrugated substrates, which effectively improved the mobility of the devices. With comprehensive investigation of different dielectric environments and morphologies, we demonstrated that the substrate’s increased corrugation is the dominating factor driving the performance enhancement. We showed that the strategy is universally valid for the other semiconducting TMD materials, opening them for the applications in heterogeneous integrated electronics.


报告人简介:

  刘松教授,湖南省“芙蓉学者”青年学者,湖南省杰出青年基金获得者。2011年毕业于北京大学,获物理化学博士学位。2011-2016年在美国凯斯西储大学及新加坡国立大学从事博士后研究。2016年10月加入湖南大学beat365官方网站,化学生物传感与计量学国家重点实验室,同年获选湖南省“青年百人”计划。目前的研究工作主要包括低维层状材料的可控合成、功能化器件的应用研究以及纳米生物学研究。以第一作者或通讯作者在Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Nano Lett., ACS Nano等国际刊物发表论文50余篇。
