报告摘要:
Energy storage is vital for realizing a low-carbon society, but it comes with its fair share of challenges. Among the various options, alkali metal-ion batteries, particularly lithium-ion batteries and sodium-ion batteries, have garnered significant attention from scientists and engineers as promising solutions. The realm of battery research heavily relies on materials engineering, with a special emphasis on manipulating materials at the nanoscale, unlocking unique properties that lead to high-performance electrodes in various energy storage devices. As a result, significant efforts have been dedicated in recent years to meet the evolving demands of electrochemical energy storage devices. Currently, researchers are exploring a range of multifunctional hybrid electrode materials and electrolytes in pursuit of enhancing the energy and power densities of the next generation of batteries. In this presentation, I will share our latest advancements in the synthesis of various hybrid electrode materials and electrolytes. These innovations are aimed at improving the electrochemical energy storage capabilities of metal-ion batteries.

郭再萍,澳大利亚科学院院士,澳大利亚阿德莱德大学教授,伍伦贡大学荣誉教授。郭教授在 Nat. Common., Sci. Adv., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Joule, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater.等国际著名期刊发表科研论文500多篇。论文被引次数超过48,500次,H-index为119,并且已在高压锂电池,水系锌电池,功能电解液等方面申请了多项国际专利。
郭教授在2023年当选为澳大利亚科学院院士,2021年荣获澳大利亚研究委员会桂冠学者,2020年获新南威尔士州州长奖,2019年获伍伦贡大学校长奖,2015年荣获澳大利亚研究委员会未来学者, 2010年获澳大利亚伊丽莎白女王基金奖, 澳大利亚青年科学家奖等。她连续四年成为汤姆森路透高被引学者(2018-2022)。郭教授目前担任英国皇家化学会Chemical Science副主编。
